Since we live in the desert, having snow drop around us is pretty unpredictable. But it usually snows once or twice a year. So I guess that counts as a tradition: hop in the car and travel several blocks to find the spot that had the best snow dump. When we arrived at this chapel, the kids got giddy. We had our "This is the place" moment, then got out of the van to blissfully play in our winter wonderland.
Two snow men and 20 snowballs later, the snow was gone and we were satisfied. 
"A" is my neighbors' 17 year old high school exchange student from Thailand who our kids adore. This was his first ever snow experience. In Thai, "Hello" is "Sawatdee Khrab". But it sounds like "So what da Crap" in English. So when he got out of the car, his exuberant "So what da crap...Snow!", made me giggle.

So what the crap! (hilarious!) Snow in Southern Utah. Looks like your little ones enjoy the snow more than mine. Great pics.
